I came across this article and it’s heartbreaking because this is exactly the shit bisexuals have to deal with on a daily basis. People dismissing us as promiscuous disease spreaders, doing it for attention or confused/on the fence and need to pick a side.
I’ve had people look at me like I was a leper when I told them I was bi. I’ve had people avoid and speak badly of me to people because I came out to them. I’m sick of bisexuals being punching bags for straights, gays and lesbians. I write about this in my Medlow Staur science fiction stories, which you can find here: https://payhip.com/fvgroup
Medlow Staur is openly bisexual and has had many male and female lovers. In the stories I speak about biphobia because it’s a real thing and needs to be combatted with as much strength and vigor as people work to combat homophobia. We can only do so much on our own and we need our allies in the #LGBTQ spectrum to step up and recognize our feelings and needs are just as legitimate as theirs and we are asking to be given the same level of respect as we grant them!
Here’s the article. It’s very well written and I recommend sharing it.

Thanks for stopping by and reading. I know I haven’t been posting much, I’m working on an actual book right now, so that’s absorbing much of my time. I just needed to share this article as it’s a topic that’s very important to me.
